Project Overview

Data Centers & Compute

The customer is a leading U.S. compute infrastructure operator whose name remains confidential under agreement. In 2025, to support rapid build-out across its U.S. sites, the customer needed 200 mining containers delivered within one year — ready to run as soon as its own miners were racked and powered on site, with no secondary integration work in the field. ETENZ took on the program as an OEM manufacturer: engineering the electrical and thermal-management systems in depth around the customer’s miner selection, power conditions and site environment, building air-cooled and liquid-cooled container lines in parallel, and finishing each unit in the customer’s own branding. All 200 containers were manufactured, factory-tested and shipped in batches to U.S. sites within the year.

Service Scope

OEM Engineering and Volume Manufacturing of Mining Containers

ETENZ delivered container structure manufacturing, in-depth design and integration of the electrical and thermal-management systems, unified provisions for fire protection, lighting, security and monitoring interfaces, exterior customization in the customer’s branding, and factory testing, packing and batch shipping. Mining hardware was supplied and installed by the customer, who runs the equipment and the sites.

Engineering & Integration Points

Electrical System Engineered Around the Miner Load

Power distribution was engineered to the customer’s miner load density and site power conditions: busbar and per-branch breaker configuration, per-rack power interfaces, and protection and monitoring points were finalized at the factory, so each container could be energized as soon as miners were installed.

Two Thermal Routes: Air Cooling and Liquid Cooling

The air-cooled line moves heat with high-volume fan walls and full-face filter walls; the liquid-cooled line uses a water circuit with distribution manifolds and hose connections to each rack position, plus interfaces for outdoor heat rejection. Both routes matured in this program into today’s air-cooled and liquid-cooled container products.

Batch Consistency Across 200 Units

Cutting, welding, painting, integration and factory testing were organized as a production line, keeping interfaces and quality criteria consistent across all 200 units and supporting batch-by-batch arrival in step with the customer’s site build-out.

OEM Cooperation with a Clear Delivery Boundary

Units were customized to the customer’s specifications and brand identity, with drawings, interface documents and test records delivered per batch. The boundary stayed clear throughout: ETENZ provides operation-ready container infrastructure, while mining hardware and site operations remain with the customer.

Delivery Value

Within one year the program moved 200 mining containers from detailed engineering through volume manufacturing to trans-ocean delivery, demonstrating ETENZ’s depth in electrical and thermal design, batch-consistent production and OEM cooperation. The air-cooled and liquid-cooled routes defined here became ETENZ’s current mining container platform.

Project Value

The value of this program goes beyond a single delivery: it turned ETENZ’s electrical and thermal engineering into a repeatable product platform and proved manufacturing and export logistics at a 200-units-per-year scale. The air-cooled and liquid-cooled mining containers in ETENZ’s lineup today are the products proven by this volume delivery.
